A prep table has a tougher job than a regular reach-in: cold air has to hold an open top rail at food-safe temperature while lids open and close, hot equipment sits nearby and the unit sits tight against a wall or another appliance.
We repair sandwich, salad, pizza and mega-top prep tables. Typical fixes include cleaning blocked condensers, replacing fan motors and thermostats, clearing iced coils and restoring airflow to the rail.

Common questions
Why is my prep rail warm when the cabinet is cold?
Rail cooling relies on airflow from the evaporator fan. A failed fan, a blocked air path or a lid left open can leave the rail warm even while the cabinet stays cold.
How much clearance does a prep table need?
Most manufacturers call for several inches of space on the condenser side so air can move. Units boxed in by a wall or neighboring equipment overheat and fail early.
Can you repair a pizza prep table?
Yes. Pizza prep tables use the same refrigeration principles with a larger rail, and we repair them the same way.
