Terms, policies and service guarantees
What to expect when you book with Elite Heating and Air: fees, payment, rescheduling and our guarantees, in plain language. Last updated October 27, 2026.
Who we are
Elite Heating and Air is a heating, cooling and commercial refrigeration company in Drexel Hill, PA, registered in Pennsylvania as a home improvement contractor, HIC #193075. We serve Philadelphia, Delaware County and Delaware. Call or text (445) 201-1231. Office hours are Monday to Saturday, 9 AM to 6 PM. The booking page shows the exact open visit times.
Same-day service
We offer same-day service when a visit time is open and the parts needed are available. It depends on the time you ask, technician availability, traffic and weather, and whether the part your system needs is in stock. We cannot promise a same-day repair, and we tell you right away if a part has to be ordered.
Service visit fee
A repair starts with a diagnostic service visit. The visit fee is charged when you book:
- Residential HVAC service visit: $149
- Commercial HVAC service visit: $189
- Commercial refrigeration service visit: $119
The fee covers the trip, the diagnosis and our time. It is non-refundable, and it is credited toward your repair total when you go ahead with the repair with us. Visits that start at 5 PM or later also carry a $150 after-hours fee, shown before you book and charged with the visit fee.
Paying for a repair
After the diagnosis we explain what is wrong, what the repair includes and what it costs. We do not start work, and you are not charged more than the visit fee, until you approve the price.
When you book with a card, the card is also saved securely with Square. It is charged for any balance only after the visit is finished and the amount has been confirmed with you. If you book with Apple Pay or Google Pay, which cannot be saved, we send you a secure Square payment link after the visit. You receive a receipt by email. We never see or store your full card number: Square handles all card details.
Replacement and installation quotes
Requesting a quote and the in-home estimate are free and come with no obligation. Prices on an estimate are for the equipment and work described on it, and the final price is confirmed in writing before any work starts. Any deposit and payment schedule are written in your contract and follow Pennsylvania home improvement law. Manufacturer and utility rebates change and have their own rules, so we confirm what is available before you decide. We do not guarantee that you will qualify for a rebate or what it will pay.
Rescheduling and cancelling
If your plans change, call or text (445) 201-1231 as early as you can and we will move your visit to another open time. Because the visit fee is non-refundable, it is not returned for a visit that goes ahead or when no one is available to let us in. If we cancel a visit or cannot reach you in the booked window, we either refund the visit fee in full or rebook you at your choice.
Service guarantees
- Price approval first. No repair work is started or charged beyond the visit fee until you approve the price.
- Honest diagnosis. We tell you what we find and what it takes to fix it. If a repair is not worth the money, we say so and quote the replacement instead.
- Workmanship. Our repair and installation work is covered by the workmanship warranty written on your invoice or contract. If a problem we worked on comes back, call us. We will come back and look at it, and where it is covered we fix it at no charge.
- Parts and equipment. New parts and equipment carry the manufacturer's warranty. We give you the warranty details and help you register installed equipment.
- Clear paperwork. Every paid visit and job gets an itemized invoice by email.
Guarantees do not cover damage from misuse, lack of maintenance, power surges, freezing, floods or work done by anyone else. We do not guarantee savings on energy bills.
Safety
We may stop work, shut a system off or ask you to leave the area if we find a safety problem such as a gas leak, carbon monoxide or unsafe wiring. If you smell gas or think there is a leak, leave the building and call 911 and your gas company first.
Your information
We use your name, phone, email and address only to book, quote, perform and follow up on your request, and to send receipts. Card payments are processed by Square. We do not sell your information. Replies to texts or emails can be stopped at any time by telling us.
Questions or a problem
If anything on a visit or an invoice looks wrong, call or text (445) 201-1231 first and we will make it right. We may update these terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed, and the version in force is the one that was shown when you booked.
